Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Secure Student Storage ("SSS" or "Storage Provider"). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

Secure Student Storage agrees to:

  1. Schedule the pickup of your belongings at the beginning of summer at the agreed upon time and place.
  2. Store your belongings in a secure facility for the agreed-upon duration.
  3. Return and deliver your belongings to you at the end of summer at the agreed upon time and place.

2. Fees and Payment

  1. Reservations are Non-Refundable: A deposit is required to confirm your storage reservation. This storage fee deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  2. Storage Fee: The total cost of storage is payable in advance.
  3. Cancellation Fee: If you cancel your reservation after a specific deadline, a cancellation fee applies.
  4. Rescheduling Fee: A rescheduling fee applies if you change the pickup or delivery date after confirmation.
  5. Extended Storage Costs: If you are not available for the scheduled pickup or delivery, extended storage costs per day will apply. 

3. Limitation of Liability

Secure Student Storage’s liability for loss or damage to stored items is limited to a maximum of $100 per box. You are advised to purchase insurance for additional coverage, if desired.

4. Uncollected Goods

  1. If you do not arrange for pickup or delivery of your belongings within 90 days of the scheduled return date, the belongings will be considered abandoned.
  2. Secure Student Storage reserves the right to sell or dispose of the uncollected items after to recover unpaid storage fees. You will be notified at the last provided contact information before such action is taken.


5. Customer Responsibilities

  1. You agree to ensure all items are properly packed and labeled prior to pickup.
  2. You must be present at the scheduled pickup and delivery times or notify Secure Student Storage at least 24 hours in advance of any changes.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Secure Student Storage from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the storage, handling, or transportation of your items.

7. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire understanding between you and Secure Student Storage and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or warranties.
